HANOI – HUE – HOI AN – QUY NHON – PLEIKU - NHA TRANG – DALAT – HO CHI MINH CITY

Cycle from north to south and discover Vietnam’s major attractions along the way including the picturesque fishing town of Hoi An, the former Imperial capital of Hue, the beaches of Nha Trang, the fresh mountain air in Dalat and the vibrant metropolis of Ho Chi Minh. The scenery is breathtaking and the local hospitality will make this trip a truly memorable experience.

Day 1: Arrive Hanoi
Upon arrival, we will welcome you at the airport then transfer to your hotel. Tonight, we will have a group briefing for your trip.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour
Today, we will cycle around Hanoi to visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, Tran Quoc Temple, Museum of Ethnology, The temple of Literature; Hoan Kiem Lake and its 36 old streets. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 3: Hanoi- Hue by flight
Today, we will get the short flight to Hue. Upon arrival, we will be fitted with bicycles and equipment. A ride to Tu Duc's tomb is optional during the afternoon.

Day 4: Hue - Hoi An
Explore the former Imperial city on bike, visiting the Citadel and Thien Mu Pagoda. Then it’s off to Da Nang for a leisurely cycle to the World Heritage town of Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An
A free day to explore this fascinating riverside town. Hoi An is a charming, quaint fishing town that can easily be explored on foot (or bicycle!).

Day 6: Hoi An - Quy Nhon
Part-drive, part-cycle (10 kms) to the district of Song My - or the better known hamlet of My Lai. Then it’s onto Quy Nhon’s magnificent sandy beaches.

Day 7: Quy Nhon to Pleiku (via An Khe)
A more challenging day as we head inland off Highway 1 and tackle the uphill road on Highway 19.  We will part-cycle this before reaching Pleiku.

Day 8: Pleiku - Buon Ma Thuot
Today's part-cycle is on a scenic road, stretching approx. in 197kms. Passing coffee plantations and national parks onto the largest town in the Western Highlands and the capital of Dac Lac Province.  (B/L/D)

Day 9: Buon Ma Thuot - Nha Trang
Today’s part-cycle covers 194kms and is mostly downhill towards the coastal town and crystal-clear waters of Nha Trang.

Day 10: Nha Trang
A cycle-free day to enjoy the clear blue waters and coastal ambience of Nha Trang.

Day 11: Nha Trang - Dalat
Part-drive, part-cycle to Phan Rang. After a hearty lunch, we journey to the mountain-top town of Dalat. (B/L/D)

Day 12: Dalat
Explore King Bao Dai's Summer Palace and The Crazy House. Experience some of the scenic vantage points around Dalat's mountainous countryside and fresh mountain air!

Day 13: Dalat to Ho Chi Minh City by support vehicle
Journey south-east to the bustling metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City. Passing small hamlets and the local agricultural plantations of tea, coffee, cashew nut, rubber and tobacco.

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels   
Visit the amazing Cu Chi tunnels followed by a sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh's famous sites; the French Colonial Town Hall, the Rex Hotel, Notre Dame Cathedral and the President's Palace. Tonight we join our guides for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 15: Depart Ho Chi Minh City
Trip will conclude after breakfast.
